About Us

In 1981 Tom and Susan Riddell moved to Mississippi along with their two sons, Michael and Scott and bought Air Filter Sales and Service. Though they had minimal experience in the Air Filtration world, they grew their knowledge by joining the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA) and took a company with only a couple of employees and grew it to a 10-15 employee company and into a full-service Air Filtration company servicing and selling to the entire State of Mississippi. Over the years, Tom served in many roles within NAFA including serving as the NAFA president in 1990-1991.

Air Filter Sales and Service later also joined the Indoor Air Quality Association and added Indoor Air quality sampling and mold testing to its list of services provided.

In July of 2024, Scott and Lindsay Riddell (Tom and Susan’s Son and Daughter in law) bought the company and continue to be members and active in the National Air Filtration Association (NAFA), The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQ) and recently became members of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) when Scott achieved his Air Systems Cleaning Specialist certification. Scott, as President, maintains day to day operations and Lindsay, as Vice President, has an Accounting Degree from Mississippi College and keeps the office running along with the book keeping and accounting.

As second-generation owners, Scott and Lindsay have grown the company to a 20+ employee company and continue to maintain and improve Air Filter Sales and Service’s dedication to Integrity and High standards for quality products and exceptional service. Scott and Lindsay also changed the company to a 100% Veteran Owned SBA 8(a) Certified Company as Scott is a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Semper Paratus!
